A tribute to my mother

 Too Soon You Left Me

Trying to make sense of this whole thing,
the more I think, the more I cling,
to the thought of you not being near,
and how much I miss you, Mother Dear.

I can still see reflections of your face,

I yearn for the warmth of your embrace.

Your caring eyes manifesting light,

reassuring me that everything is alright.

From the cares of the world, you fly free,

a long time here was never to be.

Since you left, I've shed a million tears,

but even the tears can't calm my fears.

Sweet memories of you, I hold in my heart,

never to abandon, never to depart.

Your reason and wisdom gone so suddenly,

my heart still bleeds, too soon you left me.

It's time to get back to writing

I have slacked for a few years, but it's time to get back to something I love. I'm currently pulling out all my poetry, revising them and revamping my blog and website. I have some books that were in the works, so I will be working on getting them polished up and ready to start the publishing process.
